Biography
Mike is the owner and coach at Mike Busby’s School of Photography, and he helps people develop their photographic confidence. He instructs all phases of photography from learning the fundamentals, to advanced lighting, to creative techniques to bring out one’s inner voice. Mike shoots professional landscapes, lifestyle, architecture, macro, and Infrared photography.
Mike has a Master’s Degree in Art with emphasis in composition, beauty, and the judgement of taste. He also holds a Master of Photography degree and a Professional Certification through the Professional Photographers of America. He is published and speaks to professional organizations throughout the country, and he’s frequently invited to judge local competitions. Mike is the current President for the Professional Photographers of Washington and has won numerous awards for excellence in photography.

I've spent years learning how people explore and interact with their world. My strength, what separates me from everyone else, is the capacity to simply the learning the curve for photography, while inspiring clients to persue their own path of exploration and expression. I become team you.
